Sin embargo, una de sus últimas publicaciones en la cuenta de su novio provocó la furia de sus seguidores.
La imagen que la joven artista compartió con sus fieles -y ahora enojados- fans fue en referencia al 4 de Julio, el Día de la Independencia. Esa jornada histórica Cuoco posteó una fotografía en la que podían verse sus tres perros sentados sobre la bandera de los Estados Unidos.
Los mensajes fueron lapidarios contra la mujer: “Muestras falta de respeto hacia nuestra bandera, que nunca debería tocar el suelo, o dejar a tus mascotas estar sobre ella”, indicó indignado un usuario de Instagram. Otro fue más duro: “Qué vergüenza, Kaley. Perdiste un fan”.
Los simpáticos perros de la actriz también pueden verse “vestidos” con una bandana con las estrellas y las barras rojas y blancas, lo cual también perturbó el sentimiento nacionalista de algunos de sus fans. Como consecuencia del enojo de muchos de sus millones de seguidores, Cuoco decidió borrar la imagen.
En cambio, en la cuenta de su novio prefirió mantener otras fotografías en las que se la puede ver junto a Karl Cook vestidos con indumentaria muy “patriota” por el Día de la Independencia.
